The Boggs Family has been through more than most families their age. When I took these pictures Matt (the dad) was getting ready to start chemo. It was a time of uncertainty, fear but yet hope, and enjoying their time together. The love between these four was tangible and it was impossible not to be drawn in by them.

We prayed together and trusted God for Matt's healing and recovery. As of right now, he is doing well! Most of the cancer is gone and what isn't they are treating and have great hopes. God is good!

When I was growing up my mom read to my brother and I every night, creating a special appreciation for books. I love to see families reading together, teaching their children to appreciate their imaginations and learn how to escape to foreign and exotic lands! It's easy to get caught up in the business of life and tv and never spend that quality time together.

We had a blast with this session: traversing through the high grass, being silly, and trying to finish before the light was gone! It was a true adventure with the Wall Family.

The Millers recently went from four to six and joined their lives with two amazing siblings from the little country of Latvia.

Latvia holds a special place in my heart because when I was eight, my family moved there for almost a year while my dad taught at a Bible School. It was one of the best years of my life! And through those connections and friendships, the Miller family met their children Dan and Alisa, and God did the rest. It is amazing how God weaves our lives together with so many other people, and in His wisdom directs our path. I love this family!

Ya know those times when you are talking to someone online and you don't bother to check their Facebook picture, then you finally meet them and realize you know them already?! Well, I did that with this family! :)

Brian and Leila went to school with me and were sweethearts in high school. Everyone loves a good love story! Little Emily made their duo a trio and what an amazing family. Loved every minute of this shoot, and I can't wait to take more!
