I have been revamping my style a bit over the last couple years and really trying to hone in on what I like to take pictures of.  When I started I thought it was weddings, children, family, infants, ya know, the whole shebang!  But after much deliberation and many hours of editing, I decided to focus on families and children, with senior portraits thrown in the mix, and the occasional outdoor wedding (with certain stipulations). 

Mariah and Phil were one of those!  It was a blast doing this shoot and spending the time with them and their families.  It was especially fun because Mariah has a certain love of all things urban and although New Martinsville is far from urban there are a few hidden places that definitely qualify.

I wish many blessings on this amazing couple and a happy and fulfilling marriage.

What an adventure!  Morgantown...2 hours one way...frigid cold...but hey, memories were made.

I had a great time getting to know Greg and Teresa.  And Noah, he amazes me!  What a great kid.  His life and energy are infectious.  When we were planning this shoot, Teresa and I had talked about where would be best to take their pictures and not being from the area, I was thinking big scale like parks and forests.  But I realized that my favorite place for their pictures was simply outside their home with their beautiful neighborhood in the back ground.  And besides, beauty is in the details--in this case this wonderful family!
