Maine Squeeze | Middlebourne Lifestyle Photographer
Totally in love with my three little nephews and the special time I was able to spend with them in Belfast, Maine.
My brother, Jesse Lenz of The Collective Quarterly, his wife, kids, and puppy Hazel set out on a great adventure in September, to travel America in an Airstream and document their travels. Although I was not thrilled about losing their company back home in Middlebourne, I was excited for them and this great opportunity of bonding as a family.
Another advantage of them traveling is that we also get the chance to experience new places! I was able to stay with Kate and the boys for a week while they were in Maine. I was hoping for the chance to go see them and beautiful Maine---it didn't disappoint. But although Maine was breathtaking and memorable, it was nothing compared to the hugs and kisses from my nephews! The joy in Dexter's eyes when I saw them at the airport is something I won't easily forget. Of course Rowan and Howard looked at me like "who are you....wait maybe I remember your face." LOL They are young. But I am thankful for FaceTime!
Every time I get to see their sweet faces and hear those adorable voices, it's like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. I look forward to the next time I get to squeeze these cuties!

I've been photographing this lovely family for the last few years, and I must say that I always look forward to their sessions! They exude joy and peace; evidence of a family whose life is built on the foundation of Jesus Christ.
Every week at church in our kid's class, we have the kids pick a nation to pray for. Shiloh blesses me by praying for the country of India every week. India has always had a special place in my heart since the age of 8, and having just returned from there and shared about our trip, it seems we have inspired another little one to dream big!
Matthew & Cassandra | Middlebourne Engagement Photographer | October 2015
Cassandra is ENGAGED! Yay! Well to be more precise she is actually married already, because it took me too long to post this Blog...but nonetheless she was glowing during this engagement session. The two of them were so adorable together and it was a blast to capture their smiles and the love they share.
The road before them stretches to infinity, full of possibilities and dreams and desires. I can't wait to see where God takes them and the wonderful fruit their lives will produce.
So happy for you two! Enjoy the Journey.

Jeff and Ricki making memories with all the grandkids!
The wild, craziness of sessions with lots of kids is part of the fun. I enjoyed capturing the movement of this group. So many times photographers get frustrated because they can't get the "perfect" shot, but I've come to find that the beauty is in the chaos. It's best to go with the flow and enjoy the moments you have, because kids won't be kids forever. They grow up way too fast. And personally I'd rather laugh and tease and let them know they are loved even in their orneriness, than be uptight and frustrated.
So enjoyed this lovely family and all their littles!
